Reasons Tourists Love Kenya
When the irresistible feeling of visiting Africa comes, you do not have an option but to bow to it. One of the Reasons Tourists Love Kenya is because it is one of Africa’s most beautiful countries with diverse culture, pristine sandy beaches, beautiful sceneries, variety of wildlife and general hospitality.
Here are other Reasons Tourists Love Kenya:
- The Hospitality
As soon as you land at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by a Safari Company Representative who greets and assists you with your luggage then briefs you on your itinerary before you are transferred to your hotel.
Kenya has the finest accommodation facilities ranging from homestays, budget camps/ hotels, semi-luxury lodges/ camps, luxury lodges/ camps, hotels and resorts. Staff at these facilities are professional and friendly.
- Park within the City
Established in 1946, Nairobi National Park was among the first. It is located 7km from the city of Nairobi, Kenya’s Capital. It is open daily from 6am till 7pm. Adjacent to it is the Nairobi Safari walk and Animal Orphanage.
Take a morning or evening game drive to see four of the “Big Five” – lions, leopards, buffalo and rhinos, but no elephants. The endangered black rhinoceros is protected here and the park supplies black rhinos to other national parks. Other major wildlife attractions to the park include the lion, cheetah, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, hyena and zebras. There are also sanctuaries for rhino breeding, nature trails, hippo pools and an animal orphanage.
Walking trails can be enjoyed, along with five picnic sites. Bird watching is popular here, with 400 species recorded. Turtle and tortoise watching can also be enjoyed.
- Stunning Wildlife
Kenyan wildlife is stunningly diverse. Mammals, primates, carnivores, antelopes and variety of species of birds can be seen in parks and reserves. The Big Cats like the Lion, largest mammals like the Elephant, the hot tempered Buffalo, the endangered Rhino and the elusive Leopard can be easily spotted.
Other animals are specifically found in specific parks. Take for example the reticulated giraffe and Gravy’s Zebra in Samburu National Reserve, the white rhino and Roth’s child giraffe in Nakuru National Park!
Our qualified guide will be able to identify these animals and give information on their behaviour.
- Breath-taking Landscapes
Kenya is located in East Africa. Its terrain rises from a low coastal plain on the Indian Ocean to mountains and plateaus at its center.
From the Great Rift Valley, snow-capped Mount Kenya, extinct volcanoes, hot springs, the endless Savannah, semi-arid North to Kenya’s coastline, complete with reefs and magnificent beaches, in deed Kenya is beautiful!
