Featuring Mountain Lodge, Samburu, Sweet Waters,
Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara {10 days}
Day one: Nairobi
Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (please
advise flight details). Met on arrival by Kent
Tours representatives and transferred to Nairobi
most long established and charming hotel. Overnight
at the hotel, booked on bed and breakfast basis.
Day two: Mountain Lodge
After breakfast depart for northern Kenya driving
through the lush tea and coffee plantations in
the heart of the Kikuyu land. Lunch at Mountain
Lodge built among the trees and overlooking a
water hole where forest animals gather to lick
the salt and drink from the water hole. All night
game viewing, dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day three & four: Samburu
Breakfast at the lodge, drive further north to Samburu
Game Reserve typically “northern game”
Somali ostrich, gravy zebra, long-necked gerenuk,
reticulated giraffe and their predators, including
the most elusive of cats the leopard. Morning and
afternoon game viewing drives. All meals and overnight
at the lodge/camp
Day five: Sweetwaters
Breakfast at the lodge; depart for Sweetwaters Tented
Camp arriving in time for lunch. After lunch take
an afternoon game drive into this private 110,000-acre
ranch and the site of Jane Goodall’s Chimpanzee
sanctuary. Many different animal species can be
seen here including giraffe, zebra, buffalo and
elephant, Oryx, eland and other big game. Dinner
and overnight at the camp.
Day six:. Lake Nakuru
After breakfast drive through the Great Rift Valley
for a visit to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch
at lodge/camp. Afternoon game viewings drive and
visit to the bird sanctuary. Dinner and overnight
at the lodge/camp.
Day seven & eight: Masai
Mara
Breakfast at the lodge; depart for Masai Mara Game
Reserve, which forms the northern extension of the
famous Serengeti plains of Tanzania and is the best
game viewing area in Kenya. Morning and afternoon
game drives, enjoying the
beauties of Masai Mara. Visit to Masai village “Manyatta”
can be arranged and paid locally. All meals and
overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day ten: Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Nairobi with morning
game. Arrive Nairobi early afternoon and transfer
back to the Hotel. Lunch on this day will be on
own account. Day room services could be reserved
for use until 1800hrs when you will be transferred
to Carnivore Restaurant for farewell dinner provided
by our host family in Kenya. After dinner transfer
to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your
International departure flight.
